agricultural art

i'm loving these satellite photos of various crops from around the world. some are so visually dynamic that they could be framed or used as textile patterns, i think. and while i never tire from the surrounding wheat fields and vineyards here in eastern washington, these photos lend a different perspective (literally) to living in an agricultural town.

(outside of bangkok, thailand)

(along the nile, egypt)

(al khufrah oasis, libya)

(perdizes, brazil)

(santa cruz de la sierra, bolivia)
