when i was designing and planning my high school prom back in the day, the theme i wanted to go with was "pretty brightness." it was mostly for convenience' sake since the idea invoked everything i thought a party should be. alas, my committee was unamused and we instead went with a french theme (eiffel tower ice sculpture and all.) had i not been outvoted however, i'm pretty sure every attendee would have left with a pair of these:
and they would've been pretty lucky.

i've really never been able to resist the siren call of the rhinestone. seriously, if it was socially acceptable i would bedazzle everything i own.
